Once of the things I’ve immensely disliked about YouTube since its launch is that the site offers you no way to download a video. (All of the 100,000-plus videos on Ourmedia can be downloaded.)

If you need to convert your downloaded .FLV videos to another format, I wrote earlier about FLVR 1.0, and I also use VisualHub. Plus, there are a host of Web-based transcoding services that will do this for free (with varying levels of quality), like Ares Tube, Mux, Vixy and Zamzar.
